CommonTime were recently shortlisted for the Innovation Through Technology category in the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce Best Business Awards 2011. The awards took place on Friday 30th September, at Derby's Roundhouse venue.
CommonTime are thrilled to announce that we won the award, which was sponsored by Rolls-Royce, and are absolutely delighted to be recognised by our local business community for our innovation through technology. The staff at CommonTime have worked tirelessly over recent years to develop mDesign, our new and innovative product and this award represents the culmination of all of their efforts.
As a company we have invested our time and efforts to build CommonTime mDesign, and we believe that it is the complete mobile enterprise solution; allowing organisations to develop applications which mobilise their processes. For example, travelling salespeople can access their customer database from their chosen device and then carry out processes such as part ordering or stock checking remotely.
Our efforts and research have allowed us to develop a solution which can not only build applications much faster than traditional development methods, but also build applications which work across a range of platforms including Android, iOS, Windows Mobile and Windows Phone 7.
We have always felt that our solution should be built around our customer’s processes and not their IT capabilities and our unique drag and drop interface achieves this without the need to write code for the applications.
Everyone at CommonTime is delighted that their efforts have been recognised with this award and it gives us further confidence to continue developing innovative, mobile solutions for organisations worldwide.
